About Frank
Frank van Ormondt is an experienced manager and recently also entrepreneur. He has managed a series of innovations in an international context for twenty years. Frank has built up his career from within companies such as Philips. Because he has switched between several commercial and technical functions he is able to build bridges between different disciplines.
Frank is used to operating globally. His frame of reference and expertise are broad and diverse; results are tangible, lasting and profound. Recently he presented himself as independant consultant, trainer, manager or coach for firms and organizations. His motto is to grow companies through successful innovation. Frank is entrepreneurial, result oriented and has a practical approach based on the 3 success factors: people, process and product.
Originally Frank obtained his masters of engineering degree at the Technical University Delft. Halfway he traded his technical career for a commercial one and supported this by an MBA of the RSM Erasmus University.

In the period June 2007 to May 2008 Frank has advised directors and senior management of the units Distribution Services, SME and Consumers. His proposals have played an important role in decision making and activity priority setting. Besides this he coached new employees and was a sparring partner for managers. |
Education for RSM Erasmus University, 2003-2008

Since his MBA graduation end 2001 Frank has returned regularly to campus, this time as guest lecturer. Frank gave a lecture in 2006 about Management of Innovation in the curriculum Entrepreneurship and Corporate Intrapreneurship. In February 2008 he presented the second seminar in the series of MBA Boost Sessions for alumni by the title: Four Steps to Successful Innovation. In April 2008 Frank presented a Consultancy Skills Workshop as preparation for the Living Management Consulting Project. |
